Bringing you a great new recipe, PULLED BEEF BRISKET,
Give it a try it really is delicious, you will need;
1.3kg / 3lb lean Brisket joint (approx. £8.00),
salt & black pepper,
2tbsp olive oil,
2 medium onions, peeled & chopped,…
2 garlic cloves, peeled & crushed,
400g can of chopped tomatoes,
100ml BBQ sauce,
30ml runny honey,
60ml Worcestershire sauce,
300ml 1/2 pint, good Beef stock,
10ml smoked paprika powder,
Baguettes or Bread rolls to serve.Method;
Preheat the oven to gas mark2, 160c, 300f,
Heat half the oil in a large frying pan,
Season the joint with salt & pepper and brown all over,
Transfer to large oven proof dish,
Add the remaining oil to the pan and cook the onions and garlic until soft,
Transfer to the dish,
Add the tomatoes, sauces, honey, stock & paprika, bring to the boil, cover and slow roast for 3 – 3 1/2 hours, until the beef is tender,
Transfer the Beef to a clean chopping board and ‘pull’ the meat apart using two forks,

Pile the Brisket in the bread spoon over the sauce, and serve with a cucumber and onion relish.See more
